Understanding Sari Fall & Pico
- Sari Fall: A 5-inch wide pre-shrunk cotton band hand-stitched along the lower inside hem of a sari to provide weight, drape, and protection from foot abrasion.
- Pico: A miniature rolled zigzag overlock stitch applied along the raw transversal edges of unhemmed saris and dupattas to prevent fraying.
